Four Ways to Volunteer:
- Volunteer at the check-in table at events. This is a great way to meet people as they register for the event, and with each shift worked, you get into the event for free! E-mail Jessica Osman, Volunteer Chair here.
- Join the "Kids Fun Committee" and volunteer the first Monday of each month for our KFN activities. See the information to the right.
- Volunteer at least 2 hours/week directly with Covenant House Florida. E-mail CHF here.
- Participate with the Young Pro's Board of Directors!
Volunteers are incredibly important to the Young Pros & Covenant House Florida.
Without our volunteers, we just couldn’t fulfill the YPFCH mission of raising funds and awareness for CHF.

Regardless of what specific function you are asked to carry out, please remember that you are an ambassador of YPFCH. If you are volunteering at an event, every one of our volunteers plays a critical role in making all attendees feel welcome, educated about the cause that they’re supporting, and desirous of coming back to another event along with other friends and prospective new-members. If you are volunteering at Covenant House Florida, please know you that you are an example to each and every one of our residents.
The third Monday of each month, the Young Pros host a "Kids Fun Night" at Covenant House Florida for the residents. This is a chance for members to volunteer and host an activities or game night for the kids, such as arts & crafts, Bingo, holiday parties, dance parties, and game shows. Snacks are served following the activity. It is a real treat for everyone!
The youth are really thankful for this special night where they are able to laugh and enjoy being a kid!

Kids Fun Night volunteers are needed from 6:30-8:30 p.m.,
the third Monday of every month.
You must first e-mail Natalie.
Please do not come without letting her know. You will be asked to review and sign the Guidelines for Groups and Ethics Statement when you come to volunteer. Thank you!!

Sponsor Kids Fun Night
We are always in need of donations for KFN. If you or a company you are affliated with would like to sponsor a KFN by donating art supplies, snacks (ice cream, chips, popcorn, cookies, etc), or $5 gift cards for prizes, please share the good news with us here! It is a great opportunity to have co-workers volunteer together and host a special night for the youth staying at Covenant House Florida.
